Flames of War, premiered this June at Fort George and continues for the next three years. Flames of War is an 1812 Son et Lumière show that is presented 3 nights a week at Fort George.
It is a new and unique attraction, interpreting the War of 1812 through a spectacular video projection that incorporates a fusion of light, sound, music, dance, drama and video projected on the heritage Fort George blockhouses.
The production was shot in Niagara-on-the-Lake and depicts the story of local people as war approached, the losses, heroics and victories, and the role of the natives in the battles that determined the outcome of the war between the US and the British.
